Andrew R. Sherman

Executive Director

I am the Founder and Executive Director of Operation Heroes Corporation, an organization built from firsthand experience, service, and a lifelong commitment to supporting heroes and their families.

I began my career in law enforcement in the summer of 2009 at just 18 years old, becoming one of the youngest graduates at the time. In April 2011, I began serving with a small municipal department in Jamestown, Pennsylvania, where I further developed my dedication to community‑centered policing and public service.

In February 2014, I joined the United States Air Force Reserves as an E‑3 Security Forces member. After completing both basic military training and advanced technical training, I returned to my unit, where I was promoted to E‑4 within months. I later fulfilled my military service obligation as an E‑5 and received an honorable discharge in 2020.

It was during my combined service in law enforcement and the military that the vision for Operation Heroes Corporation began to take shape. Over the years, I continued my law enforcement career with agencies across Pennsylvania, including Jefferson Township Police Department, Sharon Police Department, and UPMC Police. These roles, along with personal life experiences and the birth of my son in 2023, reinforced the importance of work‑life balance, resilience, and support systems for those who serve.

After overcoming significant personal challenges and reflecting on years of experience, I became determined to bring the original vision to life. In late 2024, Operation Heroes Corporation officially became a reality.

As Executive Director, I oversee all aspects of the organization, including strategic planning, program development, partnerships, and operations. My leadership philosophy is rooted in service, integrity, and advocacy, with the goal of creating lasting, meaningful support for heroes and their families.
